Colonization by Globalization: Struggles Against a Heartless World
Julian Edward Kunnie.
The paper will discuss the manner that we have been colonized by the forces of globalization, which is a euphemism for re-colonization, following the era of post-colonialism, particularly in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas. I will focus on issues of history, philosophy, indigenous peoples culture and cosmologies, neo-liberalism, neo-colonialism, religion, class, gender, and economic imperialism. The relevance of humanities discourse will be reflected throughout the paper, especially in view of the colonization of the humanities by technological imperialism.
